Katerina Mertikas tries to capture happy moments in our everyday lives and this is certainly evident in this framed print entitled “Joy.”  Also evident is Katerina’s love of vivid colours and her focus on children having fun. “I love vivid colours. I love the feeling the painting creates with me.”  Katerina’s work has been selected by both UNICEF and the Canadian Lung Association for cards. She has a solo exhibition at Koyman Galleries from November 12 to 29.
